Terms and Conditions
Please read the following Terms and Conditions statement. By use of your Compu-Net account, you are agreeing to our Acceptable Use Policy as well as our Terms and Conditions statement. Upon notice published online, Compu-Net may modify these terms and conditions, amplify them, and/or modify the prices, as well as discontinue or change the services offered. The Acceptable Use Policy is also available online.
Use of Services
Compu-Net dialup accounts are for the account holder only and the account holder therefore agrees to neither share the account, nor use the account to share Compu-Net sensitive information with others. The account holder acknowledges that Compu-Net will terminate the account without notice if the account holder does not comply. Additional charges for sharing an account will apply. The account holder is defined to be the person, persons or entity who established the contract for services.

Only one simultaneous dial-in is allowed per account holder. This means that you cannot use 2 of our dial-in ports at the same time. If you are found logged in more than once, the account will be suspended. Depending on the circumstances, additional charges may apply. The account holder agrees to maintain a secure password to the account. DO NOT TELL ANYONE YOUR PASSWORD!

The account holder agrees not to use any process, program, or tool via Compu-Net services for guessing or obtaining the passwords of account holders on Compu-Net or other systems. The account holder agrees not to use Compu-Net services to make unauthorized attempts to access Compu-Net systems or the systems and networks of others, or to deny authorized users access to any systems. The following lists some of the unauthorized uses of Compu-Net's system:

(1) Trying to obtain root login or another customer's login on our machines.
(2) The use of packet sniffers or other malicious hacking programs.
(3) Making public, providing, or posting any of our system files to other users of the Internet.
(4) Using a Compu-Net account to send junk mail or spam out onto the Internet.
(5) Storing, posting, or making public through Compu-Net's network pirated software (warez) or other illegal copies of copyrighted material.
(6) Snooping, disturbing, or otherwise harassing other users, Compu-Net staff, or Compu-Net customers.
(7) Running software designed to cause our system to stop working correctly.
(8) Attempting a Denial of Service (DoS) attack or other illegal activity from or through Compu-Net's system.
Payment of Fees
The Compu-Net billing cycle begins on the 1st of each month. New accounts wishing to discontinue service within the first thirty (30) days may do so, and will be charged only for the first month of service plus setup fee. Any accounts established longer than one month are responsible for fees as normal and will not be refunded.

Accounts that are unpaid for thirty (30) days are delinquent. Accounts that are delinquent are put on hold and may not be used. Accounts on hold will not be reactivated until all back charges are paid in full. The account holder acknowledges responsibility for the account until payment in full is made. A $25.00 returned check fee will be assessed for any check returned for any reason. Accounts paid by a returned check will be suspended until their balance is paid in full, including the returned check fees. In the event of default, Compu-Net may without notice of demand accelerate all payments to be immediately due, in which case the account holder agrees to pay all collection costs allowed by law and a reasonable attorney's fee if an attorney is engaged by Compu-Net.
Account Cancellations
Cancellation requests for accounts must be received in writing via email, fax or postal service at the billing office. Cancellation by telephone will not be accepted. Cancellation requests must be received before the end of the month. The account will not be cancelled until Compu-Net receives the notice. In the notice, include your full name, your username and the date you want the account cancelled. All Compu-Net accounts must be paid in full before the transaction will be considered complete. Non-use of service does not constitute cancellation of the account. There is no refund for partial monthly useage.
